Our class aims: Using the e5 model of explain, we will set to work on our group assignments. We will begin to show our understanding of our set topic by creating a Glog from the program Glogster. Below is a previously created Glog about Natural Disasters. You will be expected to create your own using a heading about your natural disaster, 3 pictures, 1 video and 3 interesting facts (these facts can be chosen from those written down in the explore session). You will be expected to work with your partner to create this assignment and check over all of your work throughout this assignment. In this lesson you are just required to discover what a 'glog' is, and how to register for one. In the next lesson (Elaborate) you will begin to create your own glog.
The attachment below will open an ActiveInspire Flipchart for use with an interactive whiteboard. A non-interactive pdf version is also attached for reference.
Procedure: 1. Read over the assignment rubric with your partner and choose roles that you will each do. 2. The image below is a previously created Glog, this is an example of what you must produce with your partner in your assignment.
3. Below are some videos which detail how to create your own Glogster site, this is your task for this lesson.
4. You'll need to register for Glogster, and once you've done this, view these videos to see how to create a Glog, and add images and text.
